Growing up in France, it was inevitable for Camille not to be inspired by the legend Edith Piaf. " I have been raised listening to her music", Camille says, "so the idea of creating a show fully based on her crazy life and breathtaking songs was always something I had in the back of my head. It is my way of thanking her for inspiring me to become the artist that I am today."
Homage to Edith Piaf is a musical celebration of the incredible life and music of the most famous French singer that ever lived, Edith Piaf.
The forty-five minute show narrates her journey from the gutters of Paris to the top night spots and theaters in the world through her most unforgettable songs. Complemented by a visual tapestry of memorable photographs, accompanied by live musicians and lead by the mesmerizing French sensation Camille Mesnard, you will travel back to the France's best era of la chanson Française.
This forty-five minutes show charted for an eight pieces band (drums, piano, bass, guitar, trumpet, trombone, alto saxophone and tenor saxophone) can be booked on it's own or alongside a forty-five minutes lyrical show featuring some of Camille's favorite opera/lyrical and musical theater tunes in French, Italian and English ("O Mio Babino Caro ", "Think of Me", "Ave Maria", "Time to Say Goodbye, "L'amour Est Un Oiseau Rebelle", and many more.
